I’m not very good at this …

Standard

I’m better at answering surveys than blogging. I have a hard time coming up with something to write about. It always ends up being more like something I’d write on a calendar.

“Stayed home today. Put a puzzle together with Riley. Got a workout in. Made lunch. Worked. Made crockpot chicken. Blah blah blah.”

Maybe I just don’t have any deep feelings or thoughts to share right now. Maybe I’ve forgotten how to write. Maybe I use all my creative juices for writing headlines at work. (Not likely. LOL)

The house is good, still trying to get things put away. What am I gonna do with all the pictures??? Someday we may even be able to park in the garage.

See? That’s it. I’m tired of trying to come up with something.

New home sweet new home

We’ve been in our new house for almost a month now. And we love it. It’s convenient to work, shopping, even Riley’s soon-to-be preschool. And our neighborhood is quiet, with friendly people. Our dog Carlo likes watching the cows in the pasture behind our house, and he likes “talking” to the neighbors’ little dog. We’re a happy little family.

Ryan particularly likes his 10-minute drive to work. Sure beats an hour! Riley loves to run on the sidewalk, and I like being 7 miles from Target.

Ryan and I are both working to get in shape, eat healthy and drink more water. I’m doing BFL and he’s just cutting back on portions and adding some exercise. He’ll probably lose more faster just because he’s a man. LOL

I enjoy my workouts, if they’re uninterrupted. Usually, though, I get one set of weights in and Riley wants to dance, so I dance with her between sets. It’s one way to keep my heart rate up. 🙂

Well, that’s about it from here. About time for work.
